Mini Bench Centre Granite Base
Granite Mini Bench Centre is made of black granite base which is naturally seasoned and provide better finish and accuracy .T-Slot made of steel is fixed within granite base on which two cast iron heads are mounted, both the heads can be moved to the desired positions depending upon the size of component to be checked. One of the centre is spring loaded to ensure uniform pressure while holding work piece and easy loading and unloading without disturbing the accuracy of the centres.
Luthra Granite Mini Bench Centres are specially designed for checking concentricity, parallelism and true rotations of components having smaller dimensions. These are widely used in industries manufacturing smaller CNC turned automobiles parts, watch spares and microscopic parts etc. where higher accuracies are required. Centres are made from high carbon steel hardened and ground finish, having morse taper MT-1 and are replaceable.
Cast iron heads are artificially stress relieved to avoid distortions. Granite base have outstanding advantages over cast iron base.
- Hardness uniformity.
- Accurate under load conditions.
- Vibration absorbent.
- Easy to clean.
- Rustproof ,Noncorrosive.
- Wrap resistant.
Each Luthra granite mini bench centre is provided with computerised calibration certificate traceable to NPL (Govt. Of India)

Precision Measurement for Small ComponentsEngineered for accuracy, the Mini Bench Center with Granite Base is ideal for concentricity and runout checking of finely machined cylindrical parts. Its mechanical designrequiring no electrical powerdelivers repeatable, precise results, supporting quality assurance processes in laboratories and tool rooms. With its granite base, this equipment offers exceptional stability, guaranteeing high levels of measurement reliability during small component inspection.
Effortless Manual OperationNo external power or complicated interfaces are neededthis mini bench center runs purely on manual control. Simply place the component between the two centers, align using the mechanical dials, and perform measurements with instantaneous response. Its manual operation ensures greater control and minimal maintenance, while accommodating a wide variety of small parts. This design is perfectly suited for users seeking both practical operation and high accuracy.
FAQs of Mini Bench Center Granite Base:
Q: How is the Mini Bench Center with Granite Base operated and what type of measurements does it perform?
A: The Mini Bench Center is entirely operated manually. It is specifically designed to check concentricity and runout in small cylindrical parts, accommodating specimens up to 10 kg and 150 mm in height, with precise measurements of up to 0.002 mm accuracy.
Q: What process is followed to measure a component using this mini bench center?
A: To measure, the component is placed between the two centers on the granite base. You then manually rotate and align the specimen. The dial gauge (optional, not included) is used to observe deviations, instantly assessing concentricity or runout.
Q: When is this equipment most beneficial for use?
A: This bench center is highly beneficial during precision inspections, quality control processes, or calibration routines in laboratory, metrology, and tool room applications, especially where manual, high-accuracy measurements are required.
Q: Where can the Mini Bench Center with Granite Base be installed and used?
A: The device is compact and durable, making it suitable for installation on workbenches in laboratories, tool rooms, metrology departments, and even in manufacturing setups for quality checks.
Q: What are the benefits of using a granite base in this equipment?
A: A granite base offers excellent rigidity, flatness, and vibration resistance, ensuring consistent and reliable measurement conditions. This reduces measurement errors and enhances the accuracy of test results.
Q: What is the maximum specimen size and capacity this bench center can accommodate?
A: The equipment supports specimens up to 10 kg in mass, with a maximum height of approximately 150 mm and a testable width of 100 mm, making it ideal for smaller precision-engineered parts.
